An American style barbecue range that looks great, bolts together in minutes, has all the ‘fiddly’ working parts pre-assembled at the factory, and is still competitive – it must be Omega. A ‘hassle free’ barbecue that looks this good without breaking the bank is an essential starting point.
The Omega 200 has two side shelves that fold for compact storage, along with a base shelf. A side burner hob provides extra cooking space on the Omega 250. To wheel the barbecue about, the right side shelf has a built-in handle grip.
Its dual burner provides two independent heat zones, both which can be lit by the piezo ignition button. An improved flame tamer sits below the cooking area vaporises food juice drippings to produce that smoky flavour. Both the cooking grill and warming rack are porcelain enamelled, providing non-stick cooking and easier clean-up.
Omega 200
Other features include a one piece hammertone painted roasting hood, two wheels with branded covers and a removable front nylon screen. New for the 2020 range, a heat indicator on the hood helps keep control over the cooking temperature.
Excess grease is collected in the grease cup below, which can be easily lifted out for cleaning.
