The Excel Onyx offers improved features including a 13kg gas bottle holder, side burner, heat indicator and rubber tyre wheels.  Wheel out and put away without having to carry, connect or disconnect the gas bottle.

A dual burner provides independently controlled heat zones and each side is lit by piezo ignition. Its porcelain enamelled cast iron cooking surface features a 30cm diameter interchangeable grill. Insert a pizza plate and the barbecue functions as a pizza oven. To cook on charcoal, simply insert the charcoal basket in place of the flame tamers, lay in our exclusive Outback Charcoal Briquettes and light the gas burners.  After 15 minutes when the briquettes are ashed over, turn off the gas.  The barbecue is ready to cook guaranteeing that great distinctive charcoal flavour.  Continue reading

Jupiter 4 BurnerJupiter started as the first Outback model to feature a multi-cooking surface with an interchangeable grill.  Insert a pizza plate and the barbecue functions as a pizza oven. Slot in a griddle to cook delicate food such as vegetables and fish.  Use a wok to stir fry food directly on the barbecue.

For the 2020 range, the Jupiter features a charcoal basket.  Insert it in place of the flame tamers and add a layer of Outback charcoal briquettes.  Light the main burners for 15 minutes and turn them off.  The barbecue is now ready to cook with that distinctive charcoal barbecue flavour. Jupiter Stainless Steel 4BJupiter Stainless Steel is a premium multi-cook barbecue with a powerful infrared side sear burner.  Use this burner to seal in meat flavours with a ‘char-grilled’ criss-cross effect before placing on the main burners.   As with the red Jupiter, the Stainless Steel models also include a charcoal basket for cooking on charcoal.

Dual Fuel Charcoal + Gas 2 Burner

Dual Fuel Charcoal + Gas 2BThe Dual Fuel offers all the cooking features of gas and charcoal with independent cooking areas for each fuel.  This also allows food to be cooked at different temperatures, such as char-grilling steak over intense charcoal heat while slowly roasting a joint of meat over the gas section on low.
