Monaco is a rugged 3 burner barbecue that has a simple clean appearance. Under the hood is a porcelain enamelled cast iron cooking surface along with a porcelain enamelled warming rack. A side burner provides even further cooking space, useful for warming sauce or boiling a kettle. This porcelain coating is less prone to food sticking and makes them easier to clean after use.
Electronic ignition provides a repetitive spark for easy lighting. Its burners warm up the flame tamers, which in turn heat the food on the grill. As the food cooks, the food juice drippings fall on to the hot flame tamers below, vaporising to produce that unique smoky barbecue flavour.
Excess grease is collected by its grease cup, which can be easily lifted out for cleaning. Unlike most drip trays, it does not require lining or sand and is less prone to fat fires.
Its porcelain enamelled hood can withstand the high heat without blistering or discolouring and its heat indicator helps control cooking. The side burner lid folds down when not use, effectively doubling up as a second side shelf. The barbecue also has a base shelf with access from either side.
