The Meteor range originally started off as a 4 burner model and has been one of the leading barbecues in our range.  With frequent requests to replace the griddle with a grill, the 2019+ range now comes with porcelain enamelled cast iron cooking grills across the full cooking area.

Porcelain enamelled cooking surfaces prevent food sticking and are easier to clean than ordinary cast iron surfaces.  Its warming rack is also porcelain enamelled, which is also non-stick and easier to clean than chrome.

Piezo ignition lights the burners at the push of a button. It now includes stainless steel flame tamers, one above each burner.  These provide more even heat distribution and less flare-ups than lava rock.  The hot flame tamers vaporise the food juice drippings produced during cooking to produce that unique smoky barbecue flavour.

Its roasting hood features an aluminised steel inner skin to retain the heat. Other features include a a fold-out condiment tray, a side burner and a bottle opener that can’t be misplaced and an easy clean drip tray.
